Sioen Tensile architecture at Techtextile

From Tuesday 21 until Friday 24 June, Sioen Tensile Architecture will be present at the international trade fair Techtextil in Frankfurt (Germany).

Our tensile architecture range offers solutions to our world in transition. With tensile architecture membranes, that are lightweight and free formable, one can create not only efficient but also beautiful and durable structures.

Smart choices in construction

In today’s architecture, lightweight and durable construction is a must because this industry is impacting the natural resources far too much. All stakeholders in architecture and construction aspire to live at a certain comfort level, protecting ourselves from external conditions, etc. in order to keep our living standard as high as possible without compromising our future. To be successful, we need to take informed decisions and to use materials with care. Sioen contributes to this aspiration with a high performanttensile architecture portfolio.

Our portfolio includes:
• performance membranes,
• façade meshes and
• highly translucent membranes for tensile architecture.
You can easily find the membrane you need with the fabric selector on our website.

Our membranes are used all over the world in car parks, sports stadiums, courtyards, halls, and buildings. Get inspired by some references on our website.

Importance of Techtextil

The trade fair Techtextil is a unique interface to gather enthusiastic professionals of the technical textile sector. This is a great time to socialise in order to sharpen our solutions for today and tomorrow.
Especially after the confinement of the past two years, meeting up in person and tightening our personal and professional relationships, will be reinvigorating.
We are looking forward to meeting companies and professionals involved in architecture to support them with their ambitions.

ESG – CSR, sustainability on all levels

We’re aware of our social, environmental, and economic responsibilities in society in general and in construction in particular.
Our range of tensile architecture membranes is part of the solution, impactful in all directions of the value chain, both in end products as in the production process.

Regarding the latter, we’re the only supplier of coated tensile membranes that produces the yarns ourselves and additionally weave and coat in Europe. In this process, we’re recycling all the PES waste, which is a unique asset that sets us apart from other suppliers in our business. We gladly refer to our dedicated website about sustainability, where you can read more than 300 articles regarding ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) matters.

We’ve been selected by the fair organisation jury to feature in the “Techtextil Sustainability Programm”.
